Positions in this family direct the management, operation and administration of a university-based teaching, research and patient care hospital and also provide liaison and coordination between the university's hospital and those in the area in affiliation with it.
TEACHING HOSPITAL ASSISTANT ADMINISTRATOR, aids the Teaching Hospital Associate Administration in providing day-to-day supervision of several hospital operating departments such as linen service, medical records, food service, information desk, and patient escort service. Aids the administration in implementing new programs and changes in programs involving coordination with several hospital professional and administrative services; represents the hospital administration in liaison.
