T.H. Radiation Therapy Assistant Dosimetrist (SL3)

This title is in the unclassified service and in the SUNY Professional Services Negotiating Unit.

The positions in this job family are involved in assessing the accurate determination of radiation in cancer therapy to which a patient may be exposed to produce the desired effect without any adverse symptoms.

T.H. Radiation Therapy Dosimetry Specialist is the training level position. The primary function is to consult with the radiation therapist and radiation physicist to design and calculate and appropriate treatment plan for each patient.

Preferred Qualifications:

Master's Degree in Rehabilitation Counseling. Minimum of two years in an acute care facility.
