Seek repeal of Chapter 627 of the Laws of 2006 requiring the state payment of local school taxes to two school districts that encompass SUNY Stony Brook's Gyrodyne property.

Purchase Land Lease
Authorizes the lease of portions of the campus of Purchase College to provide a continuing care retirement community and faculty-staff housing.

Police Retirement
Permits State University Police Officers to transfer from the New York State Employees' Retirement System to the New York State and Local Police and Fire Retirement System.

Services by the College of Optometry
Allows patients who are medical assistance recipients, now required to participate in managed care programs, to obtain optometric services at clinics of the College of Optometry.

Excludes from the definition of "lobbyist" officers, directors, trustees, employees, counsel and agents of SUNY and CUNY.

DASNY Financing of Housing by State University Not-For-Profit Corporations and Associations
Authorizes the Dormitory Authority to construct and finance student, faculty and staff housing through campus-related foundations, auxiliary services corporations, alumni associations and other not-for-profit corporations and associations.

Academic Scholars and Matching Grant Program
Enacts the New York's state university academic scholars and matching gift incentive program for the purpose of matching private contributions with State funds to expand and enhance academic programs.

Indemnity Protection for Students
Extends defense and indemnity under the Public Officers Law to students of the State University who are required, as part of course work, to participate in clinical or other field placement programs at sites of affiliates.
