What:               Launch of New SUNY Strategic Plan

When:               Wednesday April 14, 2010 - The event runs from 8:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and is open to the press. The chancellor can be made available to the media beginning at 10:00 a.m. 

Why:                The unifying theme of the strategic planning process is SUNY’s capacity to be a catalyst for the economic revitalization of the State of New York and to improve the quality of life for its citizens. 

The new and ambitious Strategic Plan will guide SUNY for the next five years and advise SUNY in its development for the next decade.  

SUNY’s planning process is largest effort of its type in the nation and unprecedented in its collaboration, transparency and outward focus.
