This years conference will take place at the Riveredge in Alexandria Bay from Monday, June 22th through Thursday, June 25th. Our host college will be Jefferson Community college. Considering the fiscal crisis facing the State and most counties, coupled with other important issues to be addressed by SUNY Community Colleges over the next few years, our agenda is timely and important. It includes a Business Officer Workshop entitled Addressing Diminishing Resources. This workshop will provide valuable information to each of us, and is especially significant considering the economic challenges we will be facing. To ensure a hotel room and your conference registration, please return the attached registration forms by Monday, June 8, 2009. The Accommodations form has a firm deadline and should be faxed or mailed directly to the hotel. The Conference Registration Form (which includes transient meals) should be mailed to our Conference Coordinator, Karen Mosher, at Adirondack Community College. CCBOA conferences give everyone the opportunity to network with policy makers, fellow CCBOA members and vendors who support our efforts. The conferences also provide an opportunity to keep abreast of the ever-evolving challenges and changes we face to ensure our community colleges are effectively and efficiently administered for the success of our students and community. Please join us in what is expected to be another important and informative conference! If you would like to come in on Sunday, Riveredge is offering a special rate of $119.00. Please share this information with others in your institutions and I look forward to seeing you in Alexandria Bay! Sincerely, Mort Meyers President, NYS CCBOA
