Micro hydroelectricity installations in the community

Students are involved in design and construction of two micro hydroelectricity systems in Madison County to demonstrate the technology, reduce residential and farm energy costs, and to train micro hydroelectricity designers and installers.

Solarize Madison

Students partner with local solar installers and community members to raise awareness of solar energy, encourage a shift to renewable resources, and train solar technicians.

Construction Planning and Management

Twice each year, in fall and spring, Residential Construction students perform “Adopt-A-Highway” management of a rest stop location along Rte. 20 near campus.
