Best Practices Search Facility

Best Practices

The SUNY Office of Strategic Planning and Assessment is asking campuses to identify initiatives that improve services, create efficiencies or save resources. These "Best Practices" are cataloged by campus and by category. The last time Best Practices were reported, they resulted in significant savings throughout SUNY and when shared with other campuses, realized even greater savings within the system.

At the left, you may search Best Practices by entering a keyword in the textbox or leave it blank to show all records.

These Best Practices will be updated on this website as received and will be published in a document semi-annually. In addition to listing each Best Practice by campus, this website lists the person responsible for the innovative idea, along with a contact phone number and email to make it easier to share the details of the initiatives.

Please use the SUNY Portal Best Practices tool to submit new initiatives. While your input is welcome anytime, the next deadline for campus submission is
June 30, 2012.
