After July 4, 2016, you will no longer be able to submit your academic record through SOAR.
Transcripts should be submitted directly from your high school.
SUNY gives students the opportunity to self-report their high school grades and courses, as well as their ACT and SAT test scores using the SUNY Online Academic Record (SOAR).
When you complete SOAR, your information is transmitted electronically and you receive immediate confirmation that your academic record has been submitted. Your SOAR will be sent electronically to each campus to which you have applied and will fulfill the transcript and test score requirement. You must be careful to enter your information accurately. Once you are accepted and indicate your intent to enroll, an official final transcript must be sent from your high school to the campus for verification. Any knowing falsification or omission of information by you may result in denial of admission, and/or enrollment or revocation of admission and dismissal.
You can begin your academic record as early as the end of ninth grade. You will be able to return each year to update SOAR with additional courses. By the time you are ready to apply in your senior year, your academic record will be nearly complete.
