Office of the University Police

The University Police Departments work in cooperation with the academic community in the promotion of practical and responsible community policing and are part of the overall educational process. As service-oriented departments, they provide educational, informational, and awareness program on topics such as prevention, drug awareness, sexual assault and traffic safety. They also develop and maintain a positive relationship with students, faculty and staff in order to ensure the safety and cooperation of the entire campus community while enforcing the laws of New York State on SUNY campuses.
