Outstanding Student Affairs Program Awards 2009-2010 (State-Operated)
During the spring of 2009, the Office of University Life and Enrollment Management at SUNY System Administration and the Council of Chief Student Affairs Officers invited nominations from every SUNY state-operated campus for the Fourth Annual Outstanding Student Affairs Program Awards for the state-operated campuses. Campuses were asked to nominate programs that have made a positive impact on students and their development in the following categories: Use of Technology to Enhance Student Services; Substance Abuse Prevention; Assessment and Evaluation; and Residential Life Programs.
In the summer of 2009, a selection committee comprised of representatives from the campuses and System Administration reviewed the twenty-four nominations received from fourteen campuses. Of these, four were selected as award recipients, with an additional one selected for honorable mention. Award recipients will be invited to present their programs at the fall meeting of the Council of Chief Student Affairs Officers held in Syracuse in October.
