This policy item applies to:
A. When a student's college fee is supported by an award from the Office of Vocational and Educational Services for Individuals with Disabilities (VESID), and the college has received a notice of authorization or voucher, the college fee charge shall be deferred. (See Billing, Refunds, Collection, Write-offs Policy for Tuition, Fees, Other Charges for additional information concerning deferment for students supported by the VESID Program.)
B. When a student receives an Award Certificate from the New York State Higher Education Services Corporation, which indicates the student will be receiving a full TAP Award that will include tuition and the college fee, collection of the college fee may be deferred until the TAP Award is paid. (See Billing, Refunds, Collection, Write-offs Policy for Tuition, Fees, Other Charges for additional information.)

State University of New York Board of Trustees Resolution 03-58, adopted June 17, 2003 changed the financing of SUNY residence halls, permitting the deposit of the college fee into the revenue-offset fund.
