Financial Services and Health AffairsHealth AffairsThe mission of the Health Affairs Office is to support SUNY's academic health enterprise, which includes Four Academic Health Centers and Three University Hospitals: University at Buffalo, SUNY Downstate (includes University Hospital), Stony Brook University (includes University Hospital), SUNY Upstate (includes University Hospital), College of Optometry, and Long Island State Veterans Home. SUNY’s four academic medical centers generate 1/3 of all SUNY research dollars, and on average, return $10 for every dollar invested in cutting-edge research.
