Westchester Community College

Located just 30 miles north of New York City, Westchester Community College offers over 40 degree and 15 certificate programs.

Facilities on the 218-acre campus include high-tech science, computer and art labs; a large athletic complex, and a multi-million dollar library and Learning Resource Center. In addition to the main campus in Valhalla, students can take courses at any one of 12 extension sites throughout Westchester and Putnam Counties.

A strong Honors Program and a chapter of Phi Theta Kappa allow academically gifted students to challenge themselves in seminar style classes and to participate in enriching extracurricular activities.

Students who need extra academic support to reach their full academic potential can take advantage of the Academic Support Center and the Office for Disabilities Services. Trained counselors and staff provide support to students in a caring atmosphere with state-of-the-art equipment.

Students take great pride in their involvement outside of the classroom through the extensive activities and athletic programs offered at the College.

An active Career and Transfer Center provides students with the services needed to facilitate career exploration and the transfer process. Graduates transfer to institutions within SUNY and nationwide. Many agreements exist between Westchester Community College and public and private colleges, providing scholarships for our graduates and a smooth transition to their next college or university.
