Tompkins Cortland Community College

Tompkins Cortland Community College (TC3) opened its doors in 1968 in an old school building in the village of Groton before moving to its current home on a lush 220-acre site in Dryden. Recognized as an innovative and forward-thinking community college, TC3 is a learning-centered institution with degree programs in liberal arts, technology, business, health and human services, hospitality, and visual media.

Tompkins Cortland benefits from a prime location in the heart of the Finger Lakes region of Central New York; known for its magnificent rolling hills, beautiful lakes and numerous parks. TC3 enjoys strong partnerships with its educational neighbors, including Cornell University, Ithaca College, SUNY Cortland and Wells College.

On-campus housing is available with apartment-style living, in five buildings owned by the TC3 Foundation. A full residence life program provides supervision and programming for 550 students.

Men’s intercollegiate athletic teams include golf, basketball, soccer and baseball, while the women’s teams include, golf, soccer, volleyball, cheerleading, and softball. The College is affiliated with the National Junior College Athletics Association.

Tompkins Cortland Community College is among the leaders in e-learning. Dozens of courses and four complete degrees are offered online, including chemical dependency counseling, hotel and restaurant management, business administration, and paralegal. TC3 is affiliated with the SUNY Learning Network, the world’s largest provider of online courses and degrees.
