SUNY Delhi has earned a solid reputation for providing a student-centered, residential collegiate experience focused on academic excellence, innovation, and hands-on experience. Delhi has also carved a unique niche in higher education. Delhi offers a seamless technology-based education that includes over 65 academic programs leading to certificates, associate's degrees, and specialized baccalaureate degrees. The U.S. News and World Report College Guide has ranked SUNY Delhi among the Top 50 baccalaureate colleges in the United States for three consecutive years.

Hands-on experience is the cornerstone of Delhi's academic programs. Bachelor's degree programs include extensive internships to prepare students for middle management careers. Technical programs feature on-the-job experiences. It is a proven approach that gets results. More than 95 percent of Delhi students find jobs or continue their education within a year of graduating.

Nearly 3,000 students attend Delhi, and they represent a true cross-section of the state's population. Nearly 25 percent of the student body comes from the Mid-Hudson region; about 25 percent comes from New York City and Long Island, with the remainder representing nearly every county in New York, neighboring states, and foreign countries such as Ecuador, Japan, Jamaica and.
