Rockland Community College

SUNY Rockland Community College offers the best of both worlds: an outstanding education at a fraction of the price charged by private colleges. Enrollment of over 6,000 students includes over 200 international students representing more than 50 foreign countries.

Located just 25 miles northwest of New York City, SUNY Rockland is convenient to the excitement and culture of New York City as well as to the recreation and history of the scenic Hudson Valley. Its attractive 175-acre campus has been designated the "safest campus" in the region, and features a new Technology Center and a newly renovated Student Union.

The College offers 41 degree and certificate programs in the humanities, social sciences, arts, technologies, business, health professions, mathematics and sciences. Small classes, taught by nurturing, experienced faculty, help ensure student success. SUNY Rockland offers flexible scheduling and a variety of learning modes, including online courses and internships. Courses are also available at extension centers in Spring Valley and Haverstraw.

The majority of Rockland students transfer to four-year colleges and universities, facilitated by over 75 specific transfer agreements with private and public four-year colleges.

Rockland's Honors Programs are rigorous academic programs for liberal arts and business students. The highly motivated students in the Honors Programs have transferred to such colleges as Binghamton University, Stony Brook University, Harvard, Yale, Cornell, Brown, Columbia and many other outstanding colleges.
