Orange County Community College

Orange County Community College has been providing a quality two-year college education to Orange County residents since 1950. Programs of study lead to several transfer and career degree options. Transfer programs include humanities and social sciences as well as programs in fields such as business administration, accounting, engineering science, computer science, and exercise studies. There are also 30 career-oriented degree and certificate programs available in the health professions, business, technologies, human services, and the arts. All programs are designed to enhance student success through individualized attention.

The Middletown campus is comprised of 14 buildings, each housing state-of-the-art equipment, technology and instructional classrooms. The College’s extension center in Newburgh overlooks the Hudson River and is located conveniently for students living in or near the eastern part of Orange County. Outside of the classroom, students have the opportunity to participate in various clubs and organizations such as the student newspaper, student senate, and Phi Theta Kappa. Intercollegiate sports are available for both men and women, with athletic scholarships available in baseball (M), basketball (M & W), and softball (W). There are also college-sponsored trips for students including Broadway shows and sporting events in New York City.

Higher education is truly an avenue to opportunity, growth and personal success. Making this opportunity accessible to as many people as possible is the primary mission of Orange County Community College.
