ERIE COMMUNITY COLLEGE
Erie Community College (ECC) offers over 60 degree and certificate programs in the areas of allied health, business and public service, liberal arts, and engineering and technologies. ECC also has been ranked among the top 100 two-year colleges in the nation in awarding associate degrees.
Serving over 12,000 students, the College has three conveniently located campuses in Williamsville, Orchard Park and downtown Buffalo. ECC's Vehicle Technology Training Center is the area's only comprehensive post-secondary automotive related training facility.
ECC offers childcare at all campuses and a top-notch athletics program, which is highlighted by the state-of-the-art Burt Flickinger Athletic Center and a nationally-ranked football program. Transfer agreements with over 25 four-year colleges makes it easy for graduates to continue their studies. ECC graduates enjoy a 90 percent job placement and transfer rate.
ECC also provides workforce development opportunities to the community through job-specific training and internships, and fosters cooperative partnerships with local businesses and universities.
ECC has had a major economic impact on Erie County and is a good investment of state and local tax dollars. Every dollar of state and local taxes invested in ECC brings a monetary return to state and local governments. Students who attend ECC have higher earnings, pay more in taxes.
ECC accounts for $668 million of all earnings in the region based upon increased earning power from skills gained in ECC programs by current and capital expenditures that serve more than 40,000 students.
