SUNY is the largest comprehensive public higher education system in the country, with more than 427,000 students currently enrolled in 7,669 degree and certificate programs on 64 campuses across New York State. SUNY is also the educational choice to over 100,000 on-line students and 1.2 million continuing education students.

With a record number of students and families turning to SUNY for the top-quality higher education at a price they can afford, overall student enrollment, minority enrollment and full-time enrollment are at the highest levels in SUNY history.

SUNY is home to some of the best and brightest faculty in the world; our campuses are set among some of the safest communities in the state; our athletic programs consistently receive national recognition; we're at the forefront of research and innovation; and SUNY is the 14th largest patent producer among all public and private universities in the U.S.
