Subject:	Election of 2011-2012 Executive Committee


	I recommend the following resolution for approval by the full Board:

Resolved that the following Trustees be, and hereby are, elected to serve on the Executive Committee of the Board of Trustees for 2011-2012:  Carl T. Hayden, Chairman, ex officio; Kaitlyn Beachner; Stephen J. Hunt; H. Carl McCall; John L. Murad, Jr., Carl  Spielvogel, Cary F. Staller and Gerri Warren-Merrick, effective June 15, 2011. 
 

Background

	Article II of the By-Laws of the Board of Trustees calls for the annual election of an Executive Committee of five or more members.  The Student Trustee is required to be a member.  The Executive Committee has general authority to transact business of the State University between meetings of the Board.
