SUBJECT:	Appointment of Dr. Karin Hilgersom as President of Sullivan County Community College

Action Requested
      The proposed resolution approves the appointment of Dr. Karin Hilgersom as President of Sullivan County Community College.

Resolution

      I recommend that the Board of Trustees adopt the following resolution:

Resolved that the appointment of Dr. Karin Hilgersom  as President of Sullivan County Community College, by the Sullivan County Community College Board of Trustees, at a salary of $141,000, effective on or about February 18, 2013, be, and hereby is, approved.  Dr. Hilgersom will be provided a housing allowance of up to $1,000 per month for the first six months and an automobile allowance of $600.00 per month.

Background

      I am pleased to recommend your approval of the appointment of 
Dr. Karin Hilgersom as President of Sullivan County Community College, effective on or about February 18, 2013.  Dr. Hilgersom succeeds Dr. William J. Murabito, Interim President.
