Jacob Crawford Albany, NY

Jacob Crawford is the President of the Student Assembly of the State of New York, and took office on June 1, 2008, which requires him to also serve as the Student Trustee on the SUNY Board of Trustees.

Trustee Crawford is dedicated to being the Student representative on the Board of Trustees, and continues to stand as the voice of the 427,000 students of the State University of New York.

Trustee Crawford currently serves as the Chief Justice of the University at Albany Student Association Supreme Court.  As well as previously serving on campus as a Resident Assistant and Judicial Board member.  While in the Student Assembly he was appointed Elections Commissioner and the Director of Rules and Operations.

Trustee Crawford is originally from East Syracuse, New York where he is a graduate of East Syracuse-Minoa High School.  He currently resides in Albany, New York where he is pursuing both a Bachelors in Political Science and a Masters in Public Administration from the University at Albany’s Rockefeller College of Public Affairs and Policy.
